Cardboard Questions, Answered

Straight answers about cardboard pickup, moving boxes, and recycling in the Treasure Valley.

How much does cardboard removal cost in Boise?

Most one-time pickups run $25 to $50. Text a photo of your pile to (208) 391-3353 and we will text back an exact price before we touch anything. Bigger loads cost more, and you always see the number before you commit.

Do I have to break the boxes down first?

You don't have to. If they are still assembled and stacked in the garage, we flatten every one of them on site. If you have already broken yours down, even better, it makes the pickup quicker and we appreciate it. Either way, you are never the one left alone with a box cutter.

Can you take my Amazon and delivery boxes?

Yes. Delivery boxes can pile up faster than your recycling cart can handle, especially around the holidays. Text us a photo when you are tired of looking at them. We handle the flattening and hauling.

Can you remove moving boxes and furniture delivery boxes?

Yes. We pick up cardboard left after a move or a furniture delivery in Boise, Eagle, and Meridian. You can leave the boxes assembled. Send a photo of the whole pile, including any foam or plastic packaging, so we can confirm what we can take and quote the job before pickup.

Doesn't Boise curbside recycling already take cardboard?

Curbside recycling can be a good option for cardboard that fits your provider's rules and cart. Check your provider's current preparation guidelines and collection schedule. We help when the boxes take up too much space or you want someone else to handle the flattening and hauling.

What if I have more cardboard than fits in my recycling cart?

Ask your recycling provider about overflow options, take the cardboard to an accepted drop-off location, or arrange a pickup with us. Text a photo of the entire pile and your city so we can give you a price and plan the pickup.

Where can I take cardboard for free in Ada County?

The City of Meridian lists free cardboard recycling at the Meridian Transfer Station, 2130 W. Franklin Road, in the office parking lot. Its guidelines say to flatten the cardboard and remove other packing materials. Check the city's current drop-off information before heading out. If you would rather skip the flattening and the trip, we can handle the pickup.

Do you pick up cardboard from businesses?

Yes. Text a photo of your cardboard and your business location for a quote. If boxes build up on a regular schedule, ask about a standing pickup and we will work out a rate for your volume and location.

How soon can you pick up my cardboard?

We will text back within 24 hours to lock in a pickup time. The pickup itself depends on when we are next running your neighborhood, because we batch jobs by area to keep prices down. If you are on a deadline, say so and we will do what we can.

What areas do you serve?

We offer cardboard pickup in Boise, Eagle, and Meridian. If you are just outside those, text us anyway. We can often still help, and if we cannot, we will point you toward someone who can.

What happens to the cardboard after you take it?

We flatten the cardboard and take it for recycling. If your pile includes foam, plastic wrapping, or other packing materials, show those in your photo so we can confirm what we can take before quoting.
